Our history
Craig Berg opened Duneland Pizza in May of 1972. We've been through many transitions as a business in those 53 years, but one thing that has always stayed the same is our commitment to serving you the best product possible, and to always make you feel at home. We have been a family run business for 53 years, with three generations currently working together, something we are very proud of.
In the early days, Craig started out the business working alongside several family members. Including his daughter Danielle, and his son Chad. Chad moved to Oregon in his 20's, where he worked as a well respected chef. Chad continues to reside in Oregon with his wife Melanie, and their two dogs. He always eats lots of Duneland Pizza when he comes home to visit!
Craig's legacy continues with his daughter, Danielle, who is the new owner of Duneland Pizza. Craig and his daughter have run the business side by side for almost 36 years. Danielle's children, Niamh (our manager, culinary school graduate & baker extraordinaire), Aizen (the best waitress, tuba playing busy highschooler), and Lorcan (the oven master who helps out when he's not at his full time job as an optical tech) are integral in providing a family run business experience. Dan (Danielle's fiancé, who owns his own business as a general contractor, is the fixer of all things) helps out often, but is usually behind the scenes helping keep things running. You'll find several of us there on any given night.
